PREPARATION TO FAMILY LIFE and WORK WITH FAMILIES

In the framework of Foundation is holding psychological counseling on family life, as well as a course of ecology of the family. This course includes studying of highly effective Fertility Awareness Method (FAM), basics of breastfeeding, natural childbirth and other issues related to the birth and upbringing of children.

Foundation organizes FAM seminars. Such seminars with the support of Pastoral of Families of Vitebsk Catholic Diocese has already passed in Postavy (Vitebsk region) in July 2008, in village Kamai (Postavy district, Vitebsk region) in July 2009 and in August 2010.

During winter 2009/2010 two parts seminar took place in Minsk with the blessing of Orthodox Metropolitan Filaret. See photos and reports on seminars, "News" section.

LECTURING WORK

An important part of our activity is organizing lectures and meetings in different audiences about demographic problems of the modern world, harm of contraception and abortion for spiritual, mental and physical health of men and women. We try to orient students on chastity, natural and harmonious marriage based on love and respect.

Lectures of this kind are holding in different churches, on meetings for young people, in universities, colleges and schools, kindergartens (naturally for tutors), etc.

CRISIS PREGNANCY HELPLINE

Since May 2010 has been working 24h Crisis Pregnancy Helpline. All women in unplanned and crisis pregnancies can call 306 2222 (a single cell-number for Velcom and MTS) and receive help from adviser on duty.

SOCIAL ADVERTIZING about danger of abortion and demographic problems

Since March 2010 has begun work on the preparation and placement of social advertizing about danger of abortion and demographic crisis.

During this work we obtained permission to place social pro-life and pro-family posters in female polyclinics and transport of Vitebsk and Mogilev.

Social advertizing has been placed in transport of Vitebsk from May to June 2010, Mogilev - in January-February 2011.

PRAYER AND CONSULTING IN FEMALE POLUCLINICS AND ABORTION CLINICS

Since December 2008 in Vitebsk and Mogilev has been organized daily prayer in abortion mills, as well as consulting women about the consequences of abortion at any period.

We are trying to talk to women there, and to inspire them to give birth to their children.

The result is obvious - dozens lives are saved!

In April 2010 Raisa Nebeduhina (chief gynecologist of Vitebsk region) allowed to consult pregnant women in female polyclinics some days before abortion. Now such consultation is conducted in female polyclinic number 2 in Vitebsk.

In May 2010 similar work has begun in Baranovichi and Liahovichi. The main feature is that there is almost obligatory consulting of all women for day or two before abortion.

In October 2010 such counseling has begun in female polyclinic in Pruzhany.

HELP TO FAMILIES AND WOMEN WHO CHOOSE LIFE

The Foundation renders spiritual, psychological and material help to lonely mothers and needy families which have choose life.

There are situations when such help is really necessary: sometimes (not often) relatives expel pregnant women when they choose life, and they have no place to live and no money to buy food during pregnancy and after childbirth.

INCESSANT PRAYER AND FASTING FOR LIFE PROTECTION

Volunteers from Brest offered to organize incessant prayer and fasting pro-life. So this good practice has begun since October, 2010. Such spiritual support is really necessary in this uneasy work. We are sure that prayer can change heart of the nation.
